Monthly Subscription Boxes - ipsy January 2015

The Glam Bag from ipsy is a monthly subscription of beauty products curated for subscribers based on a beauty quiz.  Each month, subscribers receive an exclusive makeup bag and five full-size products and samples.

 I managed to skip December's ipsy bag, so we're moving on to January.  January's bag is titled "Fresh Start."  The bag is blue on one side, white on the other, and has a coral colored zipper and lining.  It has a very nautical feel to me.

I didn't take a separate picture of the shadow brush, because it's pretty self explanatory.  It's cool, though, and I love getting brushes in my glam bags.

 

All around, a pretty good haul this month.  I tried the lip balm right away, and I liked it a lot.  It wasn't overly flavored or artificial tasting.  The other products are all great basics, and pretty sizeable for sample sizes, which is one of the things I love about ipsy.

I signed up for LootCrate in September as a birthday present to myself.  It's a monthly subscription box of geek and gamer stuff, from t-shirts to figurines, comics to candy.  Each month has a theme, and the items in the box align with that theme.

January's theme is Rewind!

I signed up for LootCrate in September as a birthday present to myself.  It's a monthly subscription box of geek and gamer stuff, from t-shirts to figurines, comics to candy.  Each month has a theme, and the items in the box align with that theme.

It seems I skipped photographing November's box inadvertently, so we will go right to December, which had the theme of Anniversary.
